Julian Haffner ist ein Tech-House-DJ und Produzent und stammt aus einer Musikerfamilie. Er wurde 1991 in Fürth bei Nürnberg geboren und begann bereits mit fünf Jahren Schlagzeug zu spielen. In den folgenden Jahren trainierte er seine musischen Fähigkeiten und begann zusätzlich Klavier und Marimbaphon zu spielen. Neben der mehrfachen Teilnahme bei „Jugend musiziert“ spielte er in verschiedenen Bands, inspiriert durch die Genres Rock, Ska und Reggae.
Nachdem er die Leidenschaft für elektronische Musik entdeckte, fing er im Jahr 2008 an, seine eigene Musik zu produzieren. Auf die erste EP „Kling Klong“ folgte 2012 „Zooming“ mit Remixen von Mat.Joe und Axel Bartsch sowie weitere Releases auf Tretmühle, Hensen, Beatwax Records und diversen anderen Labels. Schnell wurde er Resident im Zoom Club, wo er bis 2010 auflegte. Seit 2011 ist er Resident im berühmten Nürnberger Technoclub „Die Rakete“ – auch bekannt unter dem Namen „Die Perle des Südens – wo er bisweilen neben bekannten Künstlern wie Victor Ruiz, Julian Jeweil oder Nick Curly spielt. Auch Berliner Clubs wie der „Tresor Club“ oder der mittlerweile geschlossene „Club Maria“, der Münchner Club „Harry Klein“, sowie der „Cross Club“ in Prag luden den Künstler zum Spielen ein.
Im Jahr 2009 fand er zu seinem Onkel Wolfgang Haffner, einem der führenden Schlagzeugspieler Europas, welcher ihn fortan zu Gigs begleitete und ihn an seinem Album „Round Silence“ mitarbeiten ließ, welches mit einem ECHO ausgezeichnet wurde. Für das 2013 erschienene Album "Heart Of The Matter", war Julian neben Ricardo Villalobos, Nightmares on Wax, Timo Maas und Acid Mondays für die Remixe verantwortlich.

Julian Haffner is a tech house DJ and producer from a family of musicians. He was born in 1991 in Fürth near Nuremberg and started playing drums at the age of five. In the following years he trained his musical abilities and started to play piano and marimba. Beside the multiple participation in "Jugend musiziert" he played in different bands, inspired by the genres rock, ska and reggae.
After discovering his passion for electronic music, he started producing his own music in 2008. The first EP "Kling Klong" was followed in 2012 by "Zooming" with remixes by Mat.Joe and Axel Bartsch as well as further releases on Tretmühle, Hensen, Beatwax Records and various other labels. He quickly became a resident of the Zoom Club, where he played until 2010. Since 2011 he is resident of the famous Nuremberg Technoclub "Die Rakete" - also known as "The Pearl of the South" - where he plays alongside well-known artists like Victor Ruiz, Julian Jeweil or Nick Curly. Berlin clubs such as the "Tresor Club" or the now closed "Club Maria", the Munich club "Harry Klein" and the "Cross Club" in Prague also invited the artist to play.
In 2009 he found to his uncle Wolfgang Haffner, one of the leading drum players in Europe, who accompanied him to gigs and let him work on his album "Round Silence", which was awarded with an ECHO. For the 2013 album "Heart Of The Matter", Julian was responsible for the remixes alongside Ricardo Villalobos, Nightmares on Wax, Timo Maas and Acid Mondays.
